What is the drop rate of Bloodscalp ears? ›

Bloodscalp trolls can be found in and around several sets of ruins in the northwest portion of the zone. The drop rate for ears was about one in every four. The respawn rate was pretty fast, so be careful about having repops trap you if you work your way into the ruins.

Bloodscalp Tusks can be found in Stranglethorn Vale in the Tkashi Ruins from the Bloodscalp Trolls.

Stranglethorn Vale is south of Duskwood , to get through on the right of the ogre mound in Duskwood and walk down the path on the right. Or , from Westfall , you can swim through the land on the west of the map and will end up in STV also.

Dropped from Troll (Ice and Fire). It's also possible to get it via treasure hunting skill from Level up! Reloaded.

To get the Essence of Exile (required for the Cyclonian quest) you have to go to the cauldron by the troll northeast of Tarren Mill and drop in the charms. The charms (burning thundering and cresting)aren't quest items so you can get them at any time.

The next best zone would be Arathi Highlands as more quests open up in the early to mid 30's, which is also true for Desolace. In the mid to late 30's players will ideally go to Thousand Needles, Desolace, and/or Dustwallow Marsh as more quests become available there.

The Stranglethorn Fishing Extravaganza occurs every Sunday. In modern World of Warcraft, the even is a World Quest and the realm's time doesn't matter. Starting times are as follows, and are subject to Day Light Saving Time: NA realms: Sunday at 2PM PT (Monday at 7AM AEST for Oceanic realms)

Take the East Zeppelin from Brill (near the Undercity) to Grom'gol Base Camp in STV.

When the route forks, take the road heading East. Do not take the southern route as it isn't the advised route when heading to Swamp of Sorrows. Continue following the eastern path until you enter Sleeping Gorge and reach a fork in the road. Take the eastern path towards Swamp of Sorrows and you'll be there!

Horde: From Grom'Gol in Stranglethorn Vale, follow the main road north across the bridge across the chasm and right into Duskwood. Alliance: From Three Corners in the Redridge Mountains, follow the road south across the bridge into Duskwood.
