I will be gradually returning to work over the next few weeks. As we all know, health is wealth. I would like to express my gratitude to all those who have supported me during my recovery period. Every challenge and obstacle I face with my illness has only made me stronger,resilient and enabled me to do great things ❤️.

When I was a teenager I was severely bullied. Every day I got things things poured in my hair, spat on down the school corridor, fights started etc.It was rough. Being a teen is tough anyway but being in the limelight at this age my Bullying was amplified and I had hundreds of thousands of hate comments towards me on social media. I had no help, no support or anyone to talk to about it. This is why I’ve always volunteered my time to vulnerable young girls as I understand the pressures of Instagram, filters Face-tune etc. On top of how cruel people can be. It’s priceless for them to learn self-love and mental strength skills at this age. What I had to work on in my early adulthood. I am so happy we got the funding to take my group of Teen girls I mentor to the lakes! Thankyou Soroptimist International of Europe ❤️For two days 12 girls ages 12-18 will be doing outdoor adventure activities e.g., canoeing, climbing, high ropes course jumping into water walls (not me 😂). We will also be doing well-being activities, 1 1 connection and group discussions on teen life in 2024! We aim for this trip to : • Reduced stress, anxiety, and depression• Increased optimism and gratitude• Positive social connections and support• Resilience• Promotion of good physical and mental health and well-being• Improved body acceptance• Gaining new perspectives.• Encourage healthy behaviors.• Sense of Achievement which may boost self-esteem and self-confidence• Improved problem-solving abilities, teamwork skills, and decision makingThank you again Soroptimist International of Europe for making this happen ❤️

Since collaborating my charity with my parents charity, we have collectively tackled the pressures that young people face growing up today. I loved this recent press about the vital work we do! 💕📸It was lovely to have recognition for my recent Sports Award for wellbeing and current charity work. Thankyou Susan Newton . Hopefully everyone in my village gets over my 'Coronation Street girl' nickname after seeing this 😭😂!
