Position SummaryUnder the direct supervision of the Operations and Management Consultant Manager, this position is responsible for the processing of applications from the public related to the seal and expunge process. This position requires extensive research using multiple databases to ensure applications are properly processed with accurate information. This position is also responsible for providing quality service to the public regarding the seal and expunge process as well as state and federal guidelines. This position must meet and maintain FCIC/NCIC certification as required and is responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of data housed within the department databases.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesSpecific duties include:
Conducting research for accurate and complete criminal justice information by utilizing internal and external databases to ensure all information received or disseminated is compliant with state and federal requirements;
Reviewing, analyzing and processing applications from the public related to the seal and expunge process;
Providing service to local, state, and federal agencies and the general public by means of telephone, correspondence, or personal contact; and
Maintaining various logs and records of the applications received and processed.
Knowledge of general office procedures and practices;
Ability to handle payments and process payments in accordance to policy;
Ability to answer a multi-line phone;
Ability to record, collect, evaluate, and analyze data;
Ability to organize files, records and/or other materials;
Ability to sort data alphabetically, numerically, and categorically;
Ability to read and interpret law enforcement data;
Ability to review data for accuracy and completeness;
Ability to read and interpret state statutes; and
Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.

Base Salary
$18.27/hourly
