A rule of thumb I follow is to review the course syllabus and reviews of the course/certification in general. This helps me decide if the skills I need will be taught in the course.

I’d think mid-long term, so would start to evaluate the platform's scalability: can it grow with my advancing skill set and adapt to my evolving goals? Then, would also think of:1) Does the platform provide not just content but also a community? Can I get peer support and networking learning experiences? 2) Does the platform integrate well with my existing workflow? The right platform should enhance, not disrupt, my daily routine. Can I customise to match my unique learning style? (>> personalization can greatly increase engagement and retention)
