How to unlock secret of the lily in FFXIV? ›

This quest is available after finishing Power of Deduction. Speak with Aethelmaer in the North Shroud at X19-Y25. He will give you the button from earlier, and you should take it to New Gridania and show it to Miounne.

Those who would walk the path of the white mage are healers without peer, possessed of the power to deliver comrades from the direst of afflictions—even the icy grip of death itself. In order to become a White Mage, characters must have a level 30 Conjurer and a level 15 Arcanist.

To become a Conjurer, you can either select it as your starting class when you start the game or will have to travel to Old Gridania and speak with Madelle (X:6, Y:11) and accept the quest "Way of the Conjurer." Completing the quest will unlock the Conjurer class, taking you one step closer to becoming a White Mage.

In-game the Blue Mage is considered a "Limited Job". This means Blue Mages can't queue for content like other jobs can, they can't access competitive PvP modes, they can't go higher than level 80, and they can't progress the Main Story Quest.

If all the requirements are met, the quest to unlock the Aesthetician is "Beauty Is Only Scalp Deep". It can be picked up from the Miqo'te NPC S'dhodjbi (X: 11.1, Y: 11.0), found inside the Drowning Wench in Limsa Lominsa Upper Decks.

It is located in Central Thanalan and is unlocked by talking to Sibold in the Merchant Strip of Ul'dah in the Steps of Thal from level 35 (cannot enter until level 38). Players level 41 and above will be synced to level 40 for the duration of the dungeon.
